The hotel's prime location near the main street, combined with its friendly staff and excellent value for money, made for a pleasant stay.
The staff, while friendly, is not enough to redeem the hotel's many flaws.
The hotel's value for money is still a major plus
The hotel's pool area was a standout feature

The spot is great—walking from the hotel you hit Arica’s best sites: San Marcos church, Plaza Cristóbal Colón, Morro, Museo Colón 10, the waterfront, Isla Alacrán, and El Laucho beach. The bed comes with very soft sheets. But the place could use more upkeep and deep cleaning, especially in the bathroom: the tub and shower door look old, there's a damp smell, and the tiles aren’t thoroughly cleaned. The pillows are poor.
The room was clean and the location was good, and the staff were attentive. No further comments.
As usual, the cleaning and breakfast service were excellent, and I must mention the help from the gentleman who does maintenance and assisted me with parking entry and exit. The only downside was that the room wasn’t aired out.
“Hotel sin agua caliente”
There’s no hot water.
The location, staff service, breakfast, overall room, and the night café were all solid. The bathroom, however, had issues: the floor tile was loose but didn’t leak. Water from the shower seeped through the stained glass, soaking the bathroom floor.
