The hotel is gorgeous and in an unbeatable spot in Oia, with a view of the caldera, the volcano, and the sea that we consider one of the most beautiful on Santorini; our room was very nice, comfortable, and tastefully decorated in typical Santorini style, and we also enjoyed the breakfast and the restaurant, especially with that dreamy view. The service was outstanding—every team member was attentive, warm, and always eager to make our stay enjoyable, handling reservations and requests smoothly. We felt well taken care of, and the sunset event with an apéro at the sister hotel Oia Castle was a wonderful experience. The downside is that the hotel’s central location in Oia places the entrance right in a heavily trafficked tourist area, and there’s a popular photo spot right on the way to the entrance where, at certain times, many visitors linger, making it a bit of a hassle to reach the hotel. Additionally, the hotel has many steep stairs; our room spanned several levels, and the path to the bathroom or shower involved very steep steps, which was somewhat uncomfortable for us. If you prefer fewer stairs or have mobility issues, you should carefully check the room layout and location when booking.
