“Nie wychodźcie za bramę. Dopytajcie o szczegóły przed rezerwacją”
I have a major problem with this place, not just the standard on site but mainly the honesty in the description, which is crucial for me because it determines my choice of holiday accommodation. The place is new, rooms are clean with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms, but that’s where the positives end. The common area is fine, but that’s it. As soon as you leave the gate, you stop feeling like you’re on vacation. The surroundings are unfriendly, with a noisy construction site right next door, and a long walk to the city. The nearest beach is a strip of sand between rocks. Breakfast is very poor. Most importantly, the description contains inaccurate information. Fortunately, some of it has been corrected, but not all. The description claimed free airport transfer; after contacting the property we agreed that the transfer would cost 40 USD. The driver who brought us to the site in the middle of the night demanded 50 Euro, with no room for negotiation because there was only a night guard who didn’t let us in right away. The room description mentioned a private kitchen, dishwasher, toaster, and even a fireplace, but none of that exists; perhaps they’re available at the reception but not in the room. After negotiations and presenting our objections (a group of six people), the owner agreed to cancel our stay (booked for four nights with a non‑refundable option), charging us half the price. We thank him for that, because it allowed us to spend our holidays in a truly beautiful place and have great memories of Zanzibar.
