“Very unprofessional service received.”
The location had a sea view; there was no TV, and a dog on the premises made me cancel my stay, but the owner refused to refund; also, once on site they want a deposit just in case you break something.
“It was a great staycation, only recommendation I have is for Theresa to add a few local dishes to the menu”
I was thoroughly impressed by the serene atmosphere of this hotel, which offered a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. However, I did find it a bit inconvenient that the beach was located a 2.5-kilometer walk away, which might be a challenge for some guests. Despite this, I appreciated the peaceful surroundings and the opportunity to unwind in a secluded environment. Overall, my stay was enjoyable, but I would have liked easier access to the beach.
“Disappointing Experience – Left Stranded Late at Night”
I'm still fuming about the disastrous experience my wife and I had at Ocean Sounds during her birthday weekend getaway. We booked a one-night stay on June 20th, but things took a turn for the worse when we arrived in Port Elizabeth at 12:30 a.m. after a long journey. The owner, Tara, refused to let us in, claiming it was too late and that her guesthouse only accepts bookings for two nights or more, despite having accepted our initial booking. We were left stranded in an unfamiliar town at 1 a.m.
The host was fantastic, the view to die for.it was a beautiful experience
I had a wonderful experience at this lovely hotel, which boasts breathtaking views of the ocean. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to lend a helping hand. Although I didn't encounter any issues during my stay, the hotel's serene atmosphere and picturesque surroundings made for a truly enjoyable getaway. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with the warm hospitality and stunning setting.
