Las Luciernagas Hotel

The hotel is magnificent, set in nature right on the lake’s edge, with a highly efficient and courteous boat transport service, friendly and helpful staff, and various docks for lake access or sunset views, plus pools and terraces; the place is modern, clean, and has beautiful trails to explore the jungle right from the hotel. The dining options, however, don’t live up to the place; the menu is limited, especially when ordering, several items aren’t available, and prices are high. We only paid for breakfast, which was acceptable.

If you want to experience a comfortable place with fresh air, surrounded by nature and especially enjoy the wonderful lake, Luciérnagas is the hotel. The staff are attentive and even help with tours. Everything seemed excellent; I wish we had more days to stay.

I loved the spot by the lake. Even though you have to rely on the hotel boat to get around, the staff are super kind and will take you to Flores as many times as you need. The boat ride is beautiful. The facilities aren’t luxurious but have a lot of charm, and the hotel is very quiet. The shower water was hard to regulate and it took a long time to get hot.

The staff were friendly and you get access to the boat during the day as part of the service. The facilities are a bit old and somewhat neglected.
