“懐かしい落ちつきを感じました。”
The atmosphere was very calm, so I felt at ease in this uncomplicated hotel. The staff were excellent and made my stay pleasant. The building feels a little old, but it wasn’t a problem.

The staff were very helpful and lovely, and the room was great size, though it was a bit disturbing because it was right outside a busy highway. Still, it’s very close to the bamboo Arashiyama sites.

The hotel is a bit away from the center, 10 minutes by JR train. The traditional room had tatami but was very comfortable and spacious. The experience is worth it.

The room was big, though smaller than we expected. The staff were kind and personal, the building and furniture were old. You can book a private sauna an hour before. The staff entered our room by mistake and remade the beds even though we had a “don’t disturb” sign on the door.
