“素晴らしいゲストハウスでした、また来ます!”
The hotel is right next to Yamanakako. The fridge and air‑conditioning worked fine. The bed and futon were clean and fluffy, and towels and toothbrushes were provided. Disposable face towels were added as an amenity, which was convenient. The staff were women and very kind. I saw a woman guide a guest who arrived after 22:00 outside. I was worried it might be a noisy night‑time homestay, but it was completely quiet. Noise from other rooms could be heard in the corridor, but it didn’t bother me when I was in my room. My 10‑year‑old and 5‑year‑old sons seemed comfortable too. There are many restaurants around Yamanakako, so we ate there, and we used a nearby spa for the bath. Breakfast was bought at a convenience store; the cutlery was well stocked. The only issue was the window on the roof of the room, which had no curtain, so I woke up with the sunrise (a mixed blessing).
