It’s close to the city centre. The staff were very kind and helpful, and the hotel pays attention to details. It’s near the university and there’s a lot of security staff around. A shop next to the hotel plays music loudly, but ear‑plugs help. We felt a bit cold because we were in a very large room that I imagine wasn’t well insulated.

The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot after the room was tidied. The room had no windows and was on the corridor, offering little privacy. Breakfast was pricey and had few options.

Common spaces are nice and staff is friendly and accommodating. For our room (most seemed the same) 1 wall is just windows that face into the hotel meaning there is no view at all and no privacy unless you drop the blinds (even then there are still gaps in the blinds so people can see into your room as they walk past) No ventilation in the room and no windows you can open. There was a gap between window and wall that I could fit my fist through, that is just open. Space is small and not very clean, especially the shower. Since the common areas are so nicely decorated, we were very disappointed to see the room is not of the same level and felt a bit misled by the pictures
