The location is close to the U‑bahn station and the check‑in/out is straightforward. The property feels old, but the lack of a shower and toilet in the room isn’t a big deal. The bathroom fixtures need a serious renovation. The room itself was large and the linens were clean, yet the mattress was terribly sagging.

The place is very quiet and spacious, with plenty of room. The reception was friendly and everything was very clean. The courtyard feels very cold, and while the windows can be tilted, you have to lift the shutters hard to close them. Getting to Berlin Mitte takes a decent walk, though there are many stops right nearby. The surrounding area is heavily Turkish‑influenced.

The location is safe, almost directly across from the U-Bahn station on line 9, Nauner Platz. I would have liked a private bath in the room, but the shared bathroom was very clean and had reasonable facilities to take a private shower or attend to needs without feeling uncomfortable.

The host was very friendly, explained everything and was very helpful; the guesthouse is next to the metro, making it easy to get anywhere, and there are all the essentials nearby: shops, cafés, and a döner place that stays open late. There were a few minor inconveniences, but they were small things, and staying here saved us money considering Berlin’s prices.
