The location was great, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and the staff were very friendly and made us feel comfortable. The outside property was clean, but a few wasp nests above the entry door made entering and exiting difficult, and the elevator needed repairs—its ride was very jumpy, with cracked flooring and wall panels.

The hotel’s interior was decent, but I wasn’t told at check‑in that parking would be unavailable because they had covered the lot with black tar; I had to find a spot at the back and then walk around to the front because I couldn’t get in through the back door before checking in. It was a complete disaster—I’ll never stay there again.

The property is very nice, close to the airport and downtown Tampa, and I was very happy with it.
