Hotel Blumen

I absolutely cannot recommend this hotel. They manipulate prices. At check‑in they demanded extra money. I had booked for 627 €, but at arrival they wanted 972 €. The same thing happened to a friend’s family, and that wasn’t the only case. I was surprised to find they did the same with several other families. I complained to get a refund because they charged me extra for a room change, yet gave me the same small room for an additional 350 €. I cannot recommend this hotel at all. They manipulate prices. The only good thing about this hotel is its location, as it sits right on the beach. Unfortunately, my overall experience was very disappointing. The beach is private, and you can’t sit or rinse your feet in the sand unless you rent a sunbed. There is no water heater in the room. Shampoo and soap were only provided on the first day, and only in two tiny sachets the size of ketchup packets. The room is also noticeably outdated and in need of renovation. The breakfast was the worst I’ve ever had in a hotel; there was not even a single piece of fruit or vegetable. Parking costs 15 €, even though the description said 10 €. For a farther parking spot, an extra 7 € was charged, even though it is more than 10 minutes on foot from the hotel. Contrary to the description, there was no free entry to the water games (aqua park) or water attractions. I also had to cancel my booking upon arrival due to an error. I don’t know whether the error was on their side or mine. After about an hour I returned and booked again at the same hotel for exactly the same period. Yet the hotel refused to refund the cancellation fees from the first booking. Honestly, I experienced no cooperation or willingness to help. Overall, my stay was very disappointing.

Being close to the sea and all the amenities, as well as the neighbourhood, plus the possibility (under certain rules) of bringing four dogs, and the friendly staff were all positives; the downside was that the paid parking was too far away, while free spots were available right next to it.

“Great location for a short stay, but the parking situation, breakfast and service were disappointing.”

The location is the real highlight—right on the seafront and super convenient for a quick stop. The room itself was roomy, and even though the shower area was small, it was adequate. For a one‑ or two‑night stay, especially if you’re just passing through, the hotel works. Parking was a major let‑down: we were told €10 per day when booking, but on arrival we were quoted €15 for a spot near the hotel and told to hand over our keys so staff could move the car. That requirement wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the hotel info or booking terms, and I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my keys. Worse, the paid spot was already taken, the staff didn’t know where else to park, and we had to wait in a no‑parking zone risking a fine. If you pay for parking, a space should be guaranteed. Check‑in dragged on and was disorganized; the receptionist switched straight to Russian, and while I understood, I’d have preferred a language question first. Breakfast was a let‑down too: advertised as a buffet but only sweet croissants, sausages, and scrambled eggs were offered, so we opted to eat elsewhere. The beach is great, but sun loungers and other amenities aren’t included and cost extra. All in all, the spot is good, but the hotel feels more like a basic two‑star than a three‑star.

“No lo consiglio”

The only thing that mattered was the paid beach. Nothing else, because my booking didn’t match at all. Parking on the site was €10 per day, but when I arrived it was €15!!! The room was small, the bed wasn’t double, my back was ruined. The bathroom was tiny and uncomfortable. And when I booked the rooms, they were different!!!
