“Es gibt noch Luft nach oben was für den zimmerpreis angeboten werden könnte”
The reception was always staffed. No welcome water or option to boil tea in the room.
“Würde dort wieder übernachten.”
Great public transport links. We didn’t use the breakfast. There was an internet outage that caused a lot of inconvenience, but the staff were helpful whenever possible.
The room was very quiet.
The staff were friendly and tried to help right away. There was no space for us inside the breakfast area, so we were moved outside and had to wipe the chairs dry with napkins. That wasn’t a big deal, but right next to the smoking area, which isn’t great. A smoking zone right in front of the main entrance isn’t a good idea, especially with more non‑smokers around. Maybe they should rethink that.
The location was 1A! Walking from the Ottensen S‑bahn stop you can reach all of Hamburg’s sights in just 5‑7 minutes. We were there for a concert at the Trabrennbahn in Bahrenfeld, easy to get to by bus. The staff were friendly, and the underground parking is handy if you’re driving. Our room was on the side of the hotel entrance, very quiet. The only downside was the pillows, which were too firm for me; I woke up with a stiff neck every morning.
