The accommodation’s location near Schlachtensee and Potsdam was good, yet on Sunday the breakfast room was crowded, the buffet ran out quickly, and refills were delayed.

Gäste- und Tagungshaus am Glockengarten, situated in Zehlendorf, offers 13 km from Berlin and Potsdam centers. Its expansive garden invites relaxation, while historic furnishings blend with modern renovations in each uniquely styled room, including three wheelchair‑friendly options. Nearby, the Dahlem bicycle path lies 350 m away, Krumme Lanke lake 2 km, Lake Wannsee 12 min, and Glienicke Palace 18 min. An on‑site chapel provides reflection.

We knew it would be bare bones before booking, but what was provided was top quality and the value was clear; the kitchen lacked a wider range of equipment and the fridge was too small.

Breakfast was excellent and the location was ideal for launching our multi‑day bike trip from Berlin to Weimar, with good bike storage available.

The surroundings were really beautiful, but the kitchen could use a bit more equipment.

The house sits in a quiet spot with a garden for relaxation, and the large double room offers good ventilation. However, the room felt a bit spartan and not very clean, the bathroom smelled, and drinks were overpriced (0,5 l mineral water for 4,50 €).
