“Ideal spot”
The location was great, close to the train station, funicular, bars, restaurants & shops. The apartment was just right for two, although small it had plenty of storage. The separate toilet was good. The patio was excellent with its beautiful views. Very peaceful considering the busy, noisy streets. Somewhere to chill after sightseeing. The kitchen was very well equipped. For a young family it would be fantastic. Large TV that we listened to our favourite songs. Safe deposit box, brilliant. We met the owner of the building, he was very friendly. We communicated by text & phone call with the staff, they were very helpful & friendly. There was milk, coffee, tea, bread, biscuits, jams, fresh orange juice on arrival. Throughout the week there were yoghurts. We didn't expect anything else at least we could have a hot drink & a little bit of something to eat.
We didn't like all the keys to the entrances of the different passageways to our apartment, although we felt it was secure. At first we were quite confused with them, especially after traveling & arriving in the dark. Sometimes the lights didn't work in the hallway which was a health & safety risk where our apartment was. The cleaner couldn't check the bread as one loaf was green powder & there were out-of-date croissants & buns too.
