“Nice Ubud vibe - but unfriendly.”
The hotel sits right in downtown Ubud, just steps from restaurants and sights. We stayed in a ‘Wooden suite’ on the third floor, built from local timber and offering a nice view of Ubud – if stairs are a problem, ask for a ground‑floor room. Breakfast was disappointingly sparse, just one drink and an egg dish made with a single egg, whether boiled, fried or scrambled; we ended up eating out on our third day. The pool is small and only has two lounges, so it’s hard to relax by it. The staff were indifferent and unfriendly, never greeted us when we returned, left their smoking items on one of the two dining tables, and never smiled.
