Courtyard by Marriott Bilaspur

“Only hotel in Bilaspur, no alternates. So like it or not, you have to stay there.”

Breakfast was nice, and it’s the only chain hotel in Bilaspur, so there’s nothing to compare it to. I stayed for 10 days and the lunch and dinner were pathetic; every gravy was the same because they make one base and use it for everything. The hotel is falling apart and desperately needs renovation. I hope Marriott knows that they have Symphony air coolers in the restaurant. I’ve never stayed in a Courtyard property anywhere in the world that uses air coolers.

Courteous staff helped us with an extra bed. Food was good. The room was nice and we all slept soundly.

The only good property we could find. Staff is very courteous – Trilok at the restaurant, Narendra, and Sagar the chef.

Very disappointing experience. The hot‑and‑cold water mixer in the shower wasn’t working; only extremely hot water came, even from the cold‑water line for nearly 30 minutes, and I almost burned my skin. I chose Courtyard by Marriott expecting comfort and quality, but this issue made my stay very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, no effective solution was provided.
