Poor! Avoid!

The place was clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly; breakfast was good. The only issue was the parking fee.

We visited the Wellcome Genome Campus and the hotel was very convenient thanks to the free shuttle from the train station. Being only three stations from Cambridge is also a big plus. The bed was comfy and breakfast was decent, though it had some flaws. The train noise is constant, so I’d skip room 9 and those above it because they’re right next to the station. There’s also a flash at 7 am that I don’t understand. Breakfast was repetitive and items weren’t restocked; I only managed pancakes on the first day when I woke up very early. I had to request housekeeping, and on the day it was requested the shower wasn’t cleaned. The next day I noticed it had been cleaned and my towel had been moved.

Great value for money. However, I paid for onsite parking and later received a ticket in the mail that was eventually cancelled.

The room was surprisingly spacious with comfortable beds. The parking cost was higher than the train station car park next door.
