What a wonderful authentic Riad! Once you push open the door, you’re in a charming labyrinth beautifully decorated. Nothing to complain about – it’s a real joy to experience! Special shout‑out to the whole team (Mehdi in charge, Mohammed, Hicham, Aziza, Samira, Rachid, Abd Rahim…) who are absolutely perfect and even more. I just hope they’re rewarded commensurately with their great professionalism. Thank you and congratulations, we’ll share your address as soon as possible, be sure! PS: The breakfasts are good and plentiful. And above all, don’t heed the comments about the neighborhood’s danger: the end of the street is only frequented by Arabs, and narrow‑minded folks might be bothered. It has nothing to do with a knife‑thrower! After leaving the Riad and heading the other way, we find ourselves in the beautiful Merdesa Ben Youssef district, feeling like we’re in a movie set because it’s so beautiful. And in two minutes we can go to the restaurant Le Trou au Mur, which we highly recommend. Yann and Kalou

“PURA MARAVILLA en general !!!”

Both my daughter and I were delighted with the facilities, the cleanliness, and especially the entire staff at the Riad. They made us feel at home and were super friendly to us both. Everything was perfect! We’ll always recommend it. We were sad to leave, especially because of this whole Riad. We loved everything!!!!

“Ligger godt, sødt personale, nemt af finde og komme rundt fra.”

The staff were super sweet, very informative and helpful. Especially their lovely cleaning lady, who didn’t speak English, but we still managed to communicate! The beds were terrible, and we constantly had back pain… it could just be our room, Hotensia, we didn’t see the others. Breakfast mainly consisted of white bread and Nutella, and neither the coffee nor the tea tasted very good… We could see that cleaning was done daily, which is nice, but it never felt completely clean – maybe because the building is a bit old, who knows.

“Love Marrakesh and Riad Moullaoud is a lovely place to stay and explore.”

The spot is perfect for exploring the souks, and the manager Rachid plus his team were genuinely welcoming, proactive, and friendly. The Riad itself feels authentic and beautiful, right in the heart of the medina. Breakfast was decent, though they only offered eggs if you asked; it would have been nicer if that option was presented automatically. Back in 2019 the Riad served alcoholic drinks, but now it’s not licensed, which I understand but felt worth noting. Two fantastic restaurants are just a five‑minute walk away, both offering superb food and a rooftop terrace.

“Charming Riad with pleasant staff, well located and good value.”

The Riad sits in a great spot—about a fifteen‑minute walk through the souk to the city centre—and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, especially as you get closer to the centre. Local corner shops provide water, soft drinks, and snacks, and you can buy alcohol at duty‑free if you wish. The staff were lovely and helpful, and breakfast on the rooftop was good. The room was well appointed with a large en‑suite, though, like most Riads, there are no bathroom doors, so you need to know your partner well or crank the TV loud. The décor is stylish and there are three plunge pools, though we only used the small rooftop one. The temperature was very hot at around 43 °C, so we didn’t spend much time on the roof, but there were plenty of spots to read a book if it wasn’t so scorching. The in‑room air‑con was a welcome relief in the afternoon heat and at night. The rooftop plunge pool could use a net to catch the serviettes and tissues that blew in and sank to the bottom.
