I love the location and the rooms look great with a nice view, but the kitchen isn’t as advertised—there’s no stove, only a microwave for reheating or making tea and coffee.

I was intrigued by the unique story of Charles & Anne Morrow Lindbergh tied to the Azores and the room’s aviation theme. However, the reception desk felt oddly detached, lacking any sense of hospitality or emotion—quite disappointing.

The room was lovely with a harbour and Pico view, the bed was comfortable and the place was spotless. Staff helped us arrange taxis and offered baggage storage, but the front desk wasn’t always staffed and the phone went unanswered. At checkout we couldn’t find anyone to keep our bags, so they moved them from the room and left a note because we had another trip planned.

The welcome was very good, the place was clean, and the view was luxurious.

They added a €20 fee for late check‑in after 10 pm, even though the ferry from Pico arrives at 9:40; they agreed to waive it, but the charge was still surprising given the schedule. The bathroom was not up to par.
