“Scam!! I want a refund! I didn’t stay the night as no-one came to let me in or no key box available!!!”

I didn’t even get to stay in the property!!! I texted the number on the booking & also another mobile number from a person that was staying there. I sent several text messages as well as telephoned numerous times!! No further replies - I sat in 37 degree heat for over 90mins - I finally left at 9.00pm!!! I would like a full refund of the money I paid. I stayed on the couch of someone I met. This is NOT acceptable, if the owner of the home (or nominated person) are not on site, then a key box should be left & the person staying should be advised of the combination in order to enter the property & find their room. There were at least 6-8 people at the property - had they overbooked?!?! I want a refund please!. Didn’t even spend the night, as no-one came to let me in & no safe/key box to obtain a key! I thought like other properties I have booked there is a key box for self check-in, this should be mandatory!

Had no way to get into the place—no key box, no one answered my texts or calls. I sat in 37 °C heat for over an hour and a half, then left at 9 pm, ending up on a stranger’s couch. The place was full of 6‑8 people, so it looks like they overbooked. I’m demanding a full refund.

We waited with our 3‑year‑old son for 3 hours and the host had overbooked the room.

Waited three hours with a 3‑year‑old in the parking lot and the host had already booked the room to someone else. The kid was getting cranky and we had to keep him entertained. It was a total let‑down.
