“Für die Reeperbahn und St. Pauli extrem gut gelegen, astreines Frühstück”
Breakfast is sensational and really the highlight of the hotel, offering a wide variety for everyone, from sweet to sour, a tasty fish platter with Matjes, herring and salmon, and two coffee machines. There’s no shortage in the morning, and the attentive staff are always tidying up or refilling. The room size is okay and relatively clean. The location is also great, with fewer cars, and there is a parking space at the hotel. Naturally, the area is lively because of the location, so it can get noisy, but that didn’t bother us. We recommend arriving by public transport; the S-Bahn stop Reeperbahn is just around the corner, St. Pauli and the Landungsbrücken are about 7 minutes on foot (U3). The room could have smelled a bit better (maybe it still had a bit of old smoke), and the cookies from the previous owner could have been disposed of. The bathroom/WC was fine, and any minor drainage issues were fixed immediately. There are a few male night guards who are quite snobbish – they should move to Berlin – otherwise the staff were helpful and friendly.
