“It’s easy to find from the BART. It’s comfortable but that’s it.”
It was comfortable, but the location was rough; the area overall was rough, and it was wild to see it was like that.

The front desk staff are always pleasant and remember repeat guests, but the hotel feels neglected after the 2019 remodel; it doesn’t look updated or well maintained. The upgraded rooms used to include a robe and slippers, a nice perk that’s gone, and the towels have become cheap and scratchy instead of soft and absorbent. The elevator has been broken for years, and when we checked in we were given a room with a busted A/C, so we had to switch rooms, but the front desk handled it smoothly and was accommodating.

The staff were friendly and nice, yet we found hair on the beds that wasn’t ours, and one of the tubs wasn’t cleaned.

The location was good, but the furnishings were minimal: the bed was too low, the nightstand was small, there were no lamps, no dresser, no fridge, and no microwave. Communication about the 150‑night incidentals was lacking, though there were no items in the room that would count as incidentals. I didn’t have a car.
