I stayed two nights and both breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the grand hall was divided so we could eat as a family; the staff were very helpful and friendly. My grandchildren (under 5) were thrilled by the many toys and puzzles in the hotel, and the place was clean with tatami floors that felt very comfortable. The bath was spacious and clean, and we could drink the onsen; it’s said to help with diabetes, but I wish it were available every day.

From the moment we arrived until we left, the staff were consistently pleasant and made our time very comfortable; the meals were carefully prepared, the room was spotless, spacious, offered great views, and featured quality furniture, which left us completely satisfied, and the bath was also wonderful. The only drawback was that the mattress could have been a bit better.

Hospitality, facilities, food and location were all superb, and after checkout they even looked after our car and luggage while we wandered around Besho Onsen, which was a huge help. There was nothing else to point out.

The property is small and intimate, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient. There were no issues at all.

The Kaiseiki meal was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. Our room overlooked the mountains and the valley. The owner acknowledged our special occasions and celebrated us with a kind gift. The location was central to the temples. No complaints.
