Staying in this gite was a unique experience – unlike any other. A lot of thought went into the style and décor, which is also reflected in the quirky antiques found outside and around the area. Parking is good and the surroundings are peaceful. Leaving was sad.

It’s a cozy, quaint, rustic, unique place that’s fun! It works well as a base and is in a great spot for Durbuy and Dinant. The hosts are very pleasant. The furnishings are very tired and some are a little damaged; not all appliances worked fully, but they worked enough for us. The bed needs to be replaced, although the sheets are clean and new. There’s some road noise, but that wasn’t a problem for us. Ventilation is minimal; you can’t leave the door open because of the nearby road, which could be an issue in summer.

We didn’t book breakfast, so that was fine. The kitchen was a mess – everything was sticky, there were dirty pans with food scraps in the cupboard, and the spoons had residue on them. Once we cleaned it up, the rest of the stay was lovely in a beautiful setting.
