I found the rooms clean and comfy, and the Hungry Horse next door was great for standing pub food. The hotel feels like any other chain, so it’s a solid choice for a night’s stay, plus there’s plenty of parking.

Good sized bedroom. Needs a major investment to bring it into the 21st century! The continental breakfast is a joke. It could not be more basic

The breakfast was disappointing, and there was no organized flow for utensils; I had to keep going back to different stations to get what I needed.

Everyone was super friendly and helpful, but the Wi‑Fi was awful.

The place was clean and well‑located, but the breakfast menu was confusing; they advertised a £4.99 option that included a hot drink and juice, yet the staff said it didn’t. The bathroom light was broken, bedside lights were dim, and there was no shower gel in the dispenser.
