The apartment was spacious and clean. Our door faced the deer enclosure, and on the first day a deer stayed with us for a few hours. We also walked around the park, saw the little lake, and enjoyed the local flora. The receptionist was kind and helpful. The pool looked well maintained, but we didn’t use it because of the temperatures. With such a large park, it’s hard and expensive to keep everything in perfect shape; we noticed some areas were a bit neglected, like the picnic zone next to the lake. Also, it would be convenient to have screens on all windows to keep out too many insects.

Set in greenery, quiet and relaxing, also great for children. For what I paid, I expected more, with greater attention to detail and apartment maintenance.

The location is ideal for trips in every direction, and the apartments are roomy while the grounds stay tidy. The views are fantastic all around, and the ability to walk 4/5 km on the property itself is a bonus for those who want to keep running or strolling. We spotted deer, hare, and plenty of lizards. The pool was still shut, but the water would have been too cold anyway. Their restaurant recommendations are spot‑on, especially the 3‑case dish. Don’t miss a walk along the family‑friendly Elsa River at Colle de Val d’Elsa, just a short drive away.

The apartment was clean, decently equipped and quiet. We were there in October so we needed to use the heating a little bit. One would wonder how the middle of summer would be since there didn’t seem to be any air conditioners. Communication with the property was excellent. The grounds were also pleasant for a walk around and the scenery was fantastic. We had a rental car so it was easy to visit sites like San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena, Pisa and Florence. For Florence we drove to Certaldo train station and took the train from there since it was easier and calmer than driving into Florence. Since the property is located in the middle of greenery there are a lot of bugs around which is expected. The only point I would mention is that maybe the mosquito nets in the property have their edges sealed since bugs occasionally made their way in from there
