“Hotel básico , mas pra nós foi suficiente só p descansar”

The room matched the photos, and the bed and blankets were comfortable. The location is great—just a few minutes from the train station and about 15 minutes on foot from the historic center. A self‑service laundry is nearby. The only thing missing was an inclusive breakfast. The shower was excellent, a feature some might find inconvenient because the nozzle is inside the room.

“Sechs angebotene Zimmer, kein sauberes Bett – keine Erstattung durch das Hotel”

The only thing that pleased us about the hotel was its location. The rooms, especially their cleanliness, and the unfriendly, unhelpful staff were unfortunately catastrophic. We had booked the Cocoon Stachus for two nights from 11 to 13 September 2026, paid in advance, and upon arrival were offered four rooms in succession, all of which were unusable (hair and stains in the beds, fecal odor, …). We were then redirected to the sister hotel Cocoon Hauptbahnhof, where the two rooms offered had the same cleanliness issues. After six rooms had been shown to us, none with a clean, usable bed, we moved to Motel One München Hauptbahnhof, where we experienced a very clean stay and friendly service at a similar price. Especially disappointing: although we never used any of the offered rooms, Cocoon refused to cancel and kept the entire pre‑paid amount. After involving their own share, at least that part was refunded. Because of this experience we cannot recommend Cocoon Stachus.
