Dear guests, please come first to see the conditions before paying! The conditions are TERRIBLE! The toilet, kitchen, and room are VERY DIRTY, I’d even say disgusting! Dust covers everything in a centuries‑old layer, the table in the room is sticky and filthy, the linens are old, worn, and spotted. The toilet/shower smells bad, the toilet and sink clearly haven’t been cleaned in ages, and there are hair and cobwebs everywhere. The toilet doesn’t flush properly; I had to use a bucket. All the kitchenware is greasy and salty, and it’s unclear when it was last washed. The house smells of sourness and age. The host lives right there on the same property, so you’re not staying in a separate guest house with its own bathroom and kitchen—you’re sharing with the old man, using his bathroom and kitchen, which he cleans only as much as he can given his age or his idea of frequency. Staying there was a very questionable pleasure, especially considering how much they charge. For the same amount we stayed in Georgia in much more respectable places!

The value for money is great. Don’t listen to that Russian young master; the room is clean and affordable, and a few hundred meters away are tasty food and fun places.

The place is cheap and close to the center. The old man is really creepy—he kept sneaking into my room without knocking, and one time he woke me up just by walking in the morning. I don’t know what’s wrong with him, but I really don’t recommend this spot.

We stayed at this hostel while traveling in Georgia and were very satisfied. It’s clean, cozy, quiet, and conveniently located. A special thanks to the host who treated us to a genuine Georgian breakfast that was delicious and homemade. We felt like old friends visiting. Definitely recommend this place for a stopover.
