The host was very nice and informative, the place is the cleanest and most comfortable, and it’s a great alternative to a hotel stay with a private pool area—I loved it! The location is close to food, but it isn’t walkable because there are no sidewalks.

Sita was very conscientious, contacting me before I even landed in Trinidad to explain how to get a taxi at the airport, and she was ready to let me in even though my flight didn’t land until 11:00 p.m. and it took at least another hour to get through passport control and customs. The house is very secure and clean, the air conditioning in the room was excellent, the bathroom is roomy, and it’s a quiet location. It’s close to the airport but a little far from the center of town—about $40 by taxi to downtown—so it’s great for next‑day transfers at the airport, but if you plan on staying in Trinidad, you might want to pick another location.
