“All in all it was OK”
The unique theme of being partly built into rock and the effective lighting set a nice mood, breakfast was okay, and the reception staff were very nice and helpful. However, many things were unfinished: expanding foam around the bathroom door, a non‑working bedside socket, electrical sockets with huge gaps behind them, and an extractor fan that ran all night even with the light off, forcing me to block the hole with a towel. Bathroom lighting was dim, there was no vanity light, the sink bowl shelf was crooked, and the shower head rail didn’t lock and needs replacement. There was no kettle in the room; when I asked the restaurant staff for hot water and cups, he reluctantly gave them to me, saying he would want them back in 30 minutes and that I should buy tea from them. I also asked for a bowl to make granola for my daughter, and he flatly refused, being very rude and abrupt. A dog barked all night, so ear plugs were necessary.
