I had an amazing stay, the owner was very accommodating and kind, even offering to show me the island on his motorbike, which really surpassed my expectations—his hospitality was the highlight, not the rooms. The place was clean, the room was spacious, and I’ll definitely return soon for fishing with his boat! 🌊🦩🙏

The hotel agreed to reschedule my mother’s arrival dates because of a conflict in Iran and cancelled her flights. From 14.05 to 28.05 she stayed on Maafushi/Maldives for the fourth time, having loved previous visits, yet at CHAO Guest House she faced major problems: the bathroom was infested with large bugs, smelled awful, and had two showers—one cold, one hot that couldn’t be mixed—torn sheets that seemed unclean, only the hair dryer worked, breakfast was barely edible and served on a counter with crawling bugs, the cupboard with cutlery was disastrously dirty, there was no airport transport, the place was a disgusting, bug‑laden hole of stench, and the owner, who pretends to be a professional masseur, sexually assaulted her, knocked on her door at night, invited her to ride on his motorcycle, and when she refused, he and his staff wouldn’t help her with luggage, forcing her to drag it herself; after returning to Belgrade she saw a professional to regain confidence, will never return to Maafushi, and will publish this review to warn agencies; a full refund is the least the company can do, and this letter was also sent to the Maafushi police station to protect future tourists.

Breakfast was okay, about 15 minutes to Bikini Beach, the hosts were very friendly, there was tap water in the room, and they picked me up at the harbor and dropped me back, but I had a lot of insects in the room.
