I stayed here the night before heading to Tusheti and it was perfect – spotless, cozy, and the whole place is gorgeous. The host was lovely, incredibly helpful, and patient with my limited Georgian, going out of her way to communicate. The food was amazing. I’d recommend it to anyone!

The staff were very helpful, organized a taxi to Tusheti, and kept our car while we trekked. Breakfast was delicious, especially the peach cake. The room was new, with comfortable beds and pillows, and the garden was lovely. Everything else was fine.

The garden and outdoor dining area are very nice and well kept, and the meals are plentiful and tasty. The guesthouse is also conveniently located for a shuttle up Abano Pass toward Tusheti. We booked a room with a private bathroom, but the host couldn’t provide it and we stayed in a room with a shared bathroom, which was a bit disappointing at the time, though the room itself was fine. In summer the room can get quite hot because there’s no AC.

The location is perfect if you want to go to Tusheti; otherwise, it’s better to stay in Telavi. The food is very good and plentiful, although the host doesn’t speak English, she makes herself understood and cares about you. She arranged the transfer to Omalo that same afternoon.

It was a great stay with a local family. The room had A/C and the breakfast was delicious.
