The room and location were fine, but the listing said breakfast could be added for R80, which was the reason we booked, yet at check‑in they told us there was no breakfast available. I emailed the host right away—he wasn’t on site—and learned that no breakfast is offered, only nearby restaurant suggestions. Advertising a pay‑for‑breakfast option and then only recommending restaurants is a nasty way to lure guests.

I liked the spot and the reasonable check‑in/out times; the bathroom was roomy with a tub and shower, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the room was infested with flies and mosquitoes, had a terrible musty odor, mold on the wall, and overall needed a makeover from bedding to curtains, plus the carpet was due for replacement. The couch had stains and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years.

I was initially impressed with the hotel's appearance and comfort, but unfortunately, the room's carpet made it feel stuffy and uncomfortable to stay in.

Our room was clean and well-maintained, but the rest of the property was a different story - the outdoor areas, including the swimming pool, were incredibly dirty and poorly maintained.
