I appreciated the free parking nearby, but the room felt too small.

The accommodation is very nice and offers a stunning view, but what truly sets it apart are the super kind and available hosts.

Everything was spotless, the location excellent, and the owners very kind and helpful, yet the room was very small—about 10 m².

We did not use this room because it had nothing to do with the advertised room. We want to give a review for the Stella‑Maris in Gaeta that is completely contrary to all others! Based on the pictures and reviews, we booked this 3‑star deluxe room with 30 m², a balcony with sea view, and good equipment. There was also no possibility to choose from different rooms! What we received was a 9 m² storage room, with 50‑year‑old furniture, no bedside tables (because there was no space!), a single small wooden chair and no table! As mosquito protection, old grey curtains were nailed in front of the bathroom window. The balcony measured 30 × 100 cm and the sea view was replaced by a house wall opposite! A cooler was placed in front of the room door on an old wooden dresser, which further hindered access to the room, because to get into the room you had to step over 2 stair treads that belonged to the staircase to the next floor. In fact, a width of 30 cm remained as a passage to the room! The light switch was on a wall opposite the entrance door! A mysterious folding door to a room next to the room raised doubts, which were further amplified by a large glass‑less window above the bed! No one knows what is inside. A musty smell could only be guessed… We are sure we are not complainers and are not overly compromising. What was good was always well rated by us! What was offered here, we have not experienced yet! When we asked to resolve this matter in mutual agreement, we received only rejecting, almost rude answers! We can only advise everyone to take screenshots of their booking and the accompanying pictures to prove that this room was not the reason for your booking! We booked another completely newly renovated, great room nearby at a cheaper price to avoid this “cave”!
