We liked the room quality, the big beds, and the generous room size. We knew the location wasn’t the best, but we chose this stay because of the high standards, the included breakfasts, and the pool. It turned out to be the most expensive option among all our three‑week trip to the Philippines, and we quickly regretted that choice. The breakfast selection was limited, almost the same each day, and portions were small – the worst breakfasts we had all holiday. We couldn’t sleep at night because of the noisy roosters and chickens; it seems there’s a shelter nearby that houses those animals. From 1 a.m. to morning the animals were very loud. The pool was typical for diving; there were no chairs or loungers to lie on, so we only used it in the evenings to cool down after a long day. The location was poor; we had to rent scooters for 500 peso or ride tuk‑tuks everywhere.

The pool is impressive at 3 m depth, the rooms are roomy and comfortable with all the essentials, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Overall, the place is very beautiful. The staff can arrange a tuk‑tuk or a taxi to the airport if needed. Everything is well catered for, and there’s light food from the kitchen if you want it. The bathroom/washbasin is nicely equipped with all hygiene products you might need. It’s easy to reach from anywhere in Panglao and the surrounding area, and the atmosphere is generally very relaxing. The only downside is that there’s no coffee in the rooms, just a kettle which is great, but I would have liked basic tea and coffee bags. A mosquito net or door in front of the room would be useful, and some birds sometimes hit the reflective glass doors; a band or sticker on the doors could deter them. The breakfast is somewhat basic, even though it’s included, and it would be good to have another way to contact reception besides the phone.

The rooms are spacious and clean, you can rent a scooter at the hotel, and the staff are very nice and helpful. There’s a nice chill zone. The breakfasts are almost the same every day.
