Taj Deccan turned out to be a real treasure. The place is huge, and the rooms feel fresh after a renovation, especially the bathrooms which are fantastic. The staff are always ready to help, and although I was new to Hyderabad, I found a mall right next to the hotel. Breakfast was superb, with amazing choices and everything tasty. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.

The reception team and staff were rude and clearly lack proper guest‑handling skills; they need training in how to interact with guests.

The location was fine. The shower didn’t drain, the hair dryer wasn’t working, and the fridge wasn’t working either. It was really disappointing to see such conditions in a reputed hotel.
