The location was great, easy to find and get to. Breakfast was a little different; hot foods were pre‑prepared and you just had to heat them up in the microwave yourself. Good variety. The only thing I didn’t like was the TV, which is a bit small for my taste – I think it’s a 32‑inch one, lol.

The room had been renovated and was comfortable. It was clean, which is always something I check thoroughly. When I entered the lobby, nobody was there. I called the phone number and the male owner appeared. He got argumentative because I didn’t see the sign about using the house phone on the counter to call when I arrived. There are quite a few notes posted all around the desk, making it cluttered. The female owner was very nice.

The breakfast was very satisfying, especially the sausages and the egg options, and the fruit cups were great. What really stood out were the helpful hands; the operators went out of their way to ensure we had a good stay. Sherry and Martin are great hosts, well worth their weight in gold, rare gems who go the extra mile to help whenever and however they can, enriching our brief time with them—I wish there were more people like them.

We had booked a couple of nights but a job change forced us to cancel. The manager cancelled the booking without charging our company and explained that if you don’t use his facilities he won’t charge. He showed great leadership and the experience was absolutely wonderful. I’ll book there again when needed.

The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the location was convenient. Breakfast was a nice bonus. The only gripe: the plastic flowers. I’m definitely Team Real Plants.
