The place is in a great spot and spotless, but the decor feels pretty scary.

I was blown away by this spot – the room was huge, clean, and the bed was comfy. The private bathroom was separate, which I usually don’t like, but I knew about it beforehand and it wasn’t an issue; it was also spacious, had a bidet, a shower cabin, and good water pressure. It’s close enough to Piazzale Roma and the train station to haul luggage easily, yet far enough to feel like you’re deeper in Venice. The square the building faces is gorgeous. The reception is in the next house, which is fine because it’s right next door and open from early morning until 11 pm, the latest in Venice, so any problems can be sorted quickly with the manager. The staff are very helpful and friendly, let me store luggage for free, gave solid tips on the best public transport links (the Ferrovia vaporetto stop is always packed with tourists), and even booked a cheap taxi to the airport. The room was cleaned daily at no extra cost, which surprised me and I was thrilled. Nearby, there’s a bar that stays open until 1–2 am and a small kiosk with fast food that’s open until 3 am – the latest in all of Venice, which is a huge relief for someone like me who usually goes to bed very late and often forgets to buy food beforehand. Absolutely nothing to complain about.

The room is clean and quite large, but the bathroom lacks hangers for clothes and towels, and the shower curtain gets wet a lot; it would be better if the box were all plastic or acrylic.

The hotel staff are very friendly and I could speak Spanish with them. The location is great, close to the train station, and the view from the rooms is lovely. This is my second stay and I would definitely book a third. I appreciate that there’s a kettle in the room. The only downside is that the double bed is actually two single beds joined together. It would be nice to have a mini‑fridge to keep medicine or baby items.
