The warm welcome, attentive and efficient staff, and the friendly atmosphere in the bar and restaurant made for a great evening, especially since the place is dog‑friendly; breakfast was just as social and enjoyable as the night before. We’ll come back and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys traditional English pub hospitality and good food. The only issue I could find was a fire door that’s awkward to open with a suitcase, but that’s probably unavoidable due to fire regulations.
