The dish we had early in the afternoon at the hotel restaurant Le Ndolé—rice and a delicious captain filet—was excellent. The internet speed was low.

The room was reasonably clean, the climate control was good, and the Wi‑Fi worked well. The room was noisy (nighttime music from a nearby club, morning traffic sounds), even though it wasn’t on the street. The hotel was supposed to offer free airport transfers, but when I asked about it for my arrival, the answer was that their driver wasn’t available at the time of my flight (which was at night).

I loved it—so good and generous, we even had an overwhelming choice of many things to offer. The shower after the bath ran all the way to the door.

The location was spot‑on, but the Visa POS kept failing.

A heartfelt thanks to the whole New Heaven Hotel crew for a flawless visit; it kicked off with a friendly WhatsApp chat, the driver handled roadworks with skill, check‑in was smooth and everyone seemed ready for my arrival, plus a welcome card for the conference in our room. The room was spacious, the AC strong and the shower stayed hot around the clock, with city views. The on‑site restaurant served excellent local dishes, the staff were friendly, bilingual, and gave great recommendations. I’ll definitely book here again in Yaoundé. The only note: choose taxis that can handle the hill, since the hotel sits above the city.
