The hotel was spotless, the staff super friendly, and the room comfy with a good bathroom, yet there was no USB charger in the room and the road closure made getting in a bit confusing after having to go down the block.

I skipped breakfast and just had coffee, which was decent, but housekeeping was a touch lax—sometimes towels weren’t fresh and coffee bags and cups were missing.

We booked last minute for one night, the room was fantastic for the price with two big twin beds and a great shower; we’d stay longer if we were in town for a week, though roadworks at the entrance were happening while we were there, which wasn’t the hotel’s fault and didn’t affect our stay.
