The spot is great, the owners are super friendly and helpful, breakfasts are solid, and having a small fridge in the room was a nice bonus. The compressor in the room’s fridge can get a bit noisy sometimes, and I would have liked a proper external lock on the bathroom door.

The location works well, the breakfast is hearty and generous, Niall is a helpful and accommodating host, and there are plenty of solid recommendations for restaurants, walks and things to do on Islay, nothing to complain about.

Es handelt sich um eine kleine Pension mit netten, freundlichen Gastgebern und frisch zubereitetem Frühstück. Unser Zimmer war etwas klein mit einem externen Bad über dem kurzen Flur. Die Pension ist gepflegt und sauber, und der Preis ist fair. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt würde ich jedoch ein größeres Zimmer bevorzugen.
