The location and the balance of quality and price (TV, air conditioning, private bathroom, comfy bed) are solid, and the staff are super gentle. Maybe the cleaning could be better and some furniture refreshed, but those are small details.

The spot’s spotty. The room and bath were spotless and the price was a steal. The rooftop shared kitchen and dining area were tidy, stocked with a fridge, stove and plenty of utensils. The downside: the room we booked faced the afternoon sun, so it stayed hot and took a while to cool; pick an even‑numbered room next time. Also, there are a couple of stairs to climb, so keep your luggage light.

The AC was noisy, and the place isn’t suitable for a solo traveler—there’s no social scene.
