Dinner wasn’t served until 8 pm, and the breakfast line took 30 minutes; the soup didn’t taste authentic.

The onsen was excellent, the rooms were fun, the location was in nature by the stream, and the chef’s evening meals were a great experience.

The room is spacious, quiet, and offers a nice view. At the entrance, there’s a big construction site and the exterior entrance is poorly maintained. The public onsen is in a poorly kept area next to the dining room, so while waiting for the onsen to open there are no chairs and you hear all the restaurant noise and smells from the early‑opening kitchen. The carpet on the stairs is heavily damaged, and the prices don’t match the quality of the facility.

I had a very nice and comfortable stay, with a very good breakfast and dinner, and the location was very good, just near Mt. Asahidake.
