The location is beautiful in the middle of the city, right next to Nijmegen’s best terrace. The junior suite has a great coffee machine and a fridge stocked with De Hemel beer. The only problem is a lamppost outside the window; the curtains don’t block the light well.

What a cute little house in a lovely local spot! The spacious bath, comfortable bed with a firm mattress, the terrace outside the door, and a living room that meets all needs. Coffee machine, kettle, mini fridge, and a downstairs shower are all great. The people are very friendly and we had a wonderful time! The only point of attention is that the house is right on the terrace, so there is some noise from other guests, but we could sleep through it, so it wasn’t a big deal. The toilet is downstairs.

The location was great, with a lovely terrace and friendly staff. The bed in the luxury suite was excellent. However, the food fell short; the eggplant was tough, the hamburger meat smelled and tasted bad. The luxury suite itself didn’t match our expectations, the terrace felt a bit cramped, and the shower hygiene left something to be desired.

The big terrace and nice restaurant made the downstairs area cozy, and the bed upstairs was fantastic. The downside was that it was still noisy in the evenings, and the terrace only opened at 12 pm on Sundays, so breakfast wasn’t possible.

We were upgraded to a Senior Suite at no extra cost because of an issue with the Junior Suite, and the Senior Suite was nicely furnished with several seating areas. The bathtub in the bedroom was amusing… but the Junior Suite was plagued by old walls, a long heating period, a strong storm with a musty smell, and many unsightly wall stains. The room was supposed to be renovated, yet the bathroom was old and full of dusty spider webs. The Senior Suite’s ground‑floor bathroom had a loose toilet seat and a shower with spider webs. Spiders and old dust were everywhere. A pre‑check‑in walk‑through would have been wise.
