The rooms were filthy, the bathroom was also dirty, the door wouldn’t open, the toilet wouldn’t flush, the staff were unfriendly and unprofessional, they ate while helping, the photos didn’t match the room I booked, I was assigned two different rooms and ended up with a three‑bedroom apartment, the service was pathetic, there were spiders everywhere, it wasn’t even 200 meters from the hospital, the plugs weren’t working so I couldn’t charge my phone.

I loved every single thing about the lodge—spotlessly clean, exactly as shown in the photos, and in a great spot close to shops and restaurants. The staff were super friendly and the breakfast was divine, making it feel like a home away from home. The only downside was that I could only watch DSTV channels, with very few options, and there was no Netflix or other online streaming.
