How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The place was gorgeous, the reception warm, the room spacious and well decorated, the garden, the pool, and the view from our room were all lovely. The arrival times were too strict: you must check in only between 17:00 and 19:00 or you pay an extra 50 euros, and that rigid rule is a pity for a guesthouse.

The house was beautiful with two large adjoining rooms that comfortably fit four people. Breakfast was standard but the homemade jams were superb. The location was ideal for enjoying the Interceltic Festival in Lorient. It was disappointing that a “character” guesthouse didn’t provide the advertised toiletries and a proper kettle set (we only had two mugs and a mini Carambar for four people). It didn’t ruin our short stay, but a bit more vigilance would help for longer stays.

We were welcomed by a very friendly host, got a nice room on the 1st floor with a big bed that even the French would approve of, enjoyed a tasty breakfast in the morning, and could relax in a spacious lounge downstairs, stroll through a large beautiful garden, and swim in a wonderful pool. The only downside was the heat during our stay, but we could cool off in the pool.
