The host was very friendly and helpful, and the room and sheets were clean, which I value. However, you can’t park your car in front of the door; you have to use a market parking spot that feels a bit unsafe, and walking there with bags in the heat isn’t pleasant. Our apartment was on the upper floor, requiring a steep stair climb. The bathroom was very small, leaving barely any room to move.

The woman who greeted us was very nice and friendly. They turned one of the old Ayvalık houses into a guesthouse. It was clean and functional. Being in the center, everything was within walking distance, which was great. The beds were comfortable. The room had air‑conditioning and window screens, which are especially essential in the summer months. The bathroom fixtures were of low quality—sink, cabinet, etc.

Very central and convenient. Everything was good, but on Thursdays there’s apparently a bazaar right outside. I was woken around 4 am by the noise of people setting up their stalls and it took me a while to fall back asleep—though that was just me; the other guests were still asleep.
