The large outdoor pool is pleasant, and there’s a Jacuzzi outside. The spa offers a sauna, Turkish bath, water circuit, and showers. It’s close to the beach, but you need a car. The bed is comfortable. The air conditioning didn’t work, so they gave a small discount at checkout. Breakfast is decent but could have more variety. Dinner at the restaurant was good but could have offered more choices. The staff were friendly. To reach the rooms, which are just a few metres from the restaurant, pool, and reception, we walked through a golf course, but that was fine. The beach is far and we had to drive. I think it’s pricey for what it offers.

The environment is well maintained, the staff are courteous, rooms are clean, and the breakfast is varied and plentiful. The only drawback is the lack of covered parking.

I’ve stayed at Riva Toscana for four years, and each time I return, it still outdoes my expectations. It’s rare to find a hotel you want to keep coming back to for so long while it consistently maintains the same level of quality, care, and attention. The welcome is flawless, the property is very pleasant, and every stay is a relaxing, enjoyable experience. It’s become one of those places I know I’ll feel good at and never be disappointed. After four years I still pick Riva Toscana, and that says it all—absolutely one of my favourite hotels in Tuscany.

The pool area and little village feel great, nothing else to complain about.
