The hotel is well located near St. Peter’s Basilica, public transport, and shops, with polite, smiling staff available 24/7, and the room’s climate control and mini‑fridge are nice. On the downside, the place is noisy and aging; the room is small, the shower tiny, the wall damaged, and the pillow hard. You can hear neighboring rooms, staff chatting at reception, people in the hallway, and if your room faces the street, traffic noise is audible. The staff don’t speak French, making communication hard, but we managed. For me it doesn’t feel like a 3‑star hotel as in France; the room really needs a good renovation, which is a shame.
